The privilege of attending Easton Alternative School carries certain responsibilities and obligations. Students, parents, and guardians must recognize the direct relationship between attending school on a consistent basis and academic success. Regular attendance is a key component to much of the success a student may achieve from his or her high school program.
Students are expected to be regular and prompt in their attendance. Students must attend at least 2.5 hours a day.
Students will be allowed 12 hours of leave. Use of more than the12 hours will result in immediate termination from the program. Students may bank more than 12 hours by being at the school more than the daily requirement.
Time at the school is recorded using time cards and a time clock. Time cards must be in the room’s card slot at all times; tampering with cards will result in termination. Students must punch in and out whenever they leave the classroom.
The school is open from 8:00 a.m.-3:45 p.m. and follows the Williston district calendar.
