If study hall students are on book business or need computer access for just a few minutes, having a teacher's signature on a pass is sufficient.
If a study hall student wishes to be in the library for an entire period, he/she must get a colored library pass before the class period starts. The pass is shown to the study hall teacher, and then the student immediately comes to the library and turns in the pass at the desk upon arrival.
